1. Ticket Validity

1.1 Tickets are only valid for the date and time printed on the ticket. Entry is not permitted outside of the booked time slot.
1.2 Each ticket admits one person only.
1.3 Guests must arrive in time for their booked slot. Late arrivals may not be admitted.

2. Refunds, Exchanges, and Event Changes

2.1 All ticket sales are final. No refunds or cancellations are permitted, except in the case of event cancellation by the organisers.
2.2 In the event of cancellation by the organisers, a full refund or transfer to a rescheduled date will be offered where possible.
2.3 Beacon Hill After Dark reserves the right to postpone, cancel, or amend the event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to severe weather, power failure, safety concerns, or governmental regulations). In such cases, tickets will be transferred to a rescheduled date where possible. Refunds will only be provided if the event is permanently cancelled.
2.4 Tickets may be exchanged for an alternative date/time up to 1 hour before the event, subject to availability, by contacting the organisers or via the ticketing portal. 

3. Health, Safety, and Accessibility

3.1 This attraction contains horror effects, including jump scares, loud sounds, strobe lighting, smoke effects, confined spaces, latex, and simulated gore.
3.2 The event may not be suitable for guests with medical conditions including (but not limited to) heart problems, respiratory conditions, photosensitive epilepsy, pregnancy, claustrophobia, or severe anxiety. Attendance is at guests’ own risk.
3.3 Due to the historic nature of the site, the event is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with significant mobility issues. Guests must be able to navigate steps, uneven terrain, confined spaces and low ceilings.
3.4 Sensible footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are strongly recommended. The event will continue in all weather conditions deemed safe by the organisers. Refunds will not be offered due to inclement weather.
3.5 By attending Beacon Hill After Dark, guests accept that the experience involves inherent risks and participate entirely at their own risk. The organisers accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage except where caused by negligence.

4. Age Restrictions

4.1 Children under 14 are not permitted to access this event.
4.2 Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18+.
4.3 The organisers reserve the right to request proof of age (photographic ID from a driving license or passport) and refuse entry to those too young to participate without refund.

5. Behaviour and Prohibited Items

5.1 Aggressive, disruptive, or unsafe behaviour towards staff, actors, or other guests will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the event without refund. This decision is at the organisers’ sole discretion and is final.
5.2 Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be admitted. If identified inside the event, they will be removed without refund. This decision is final.
5.3 Bag searches may be carried out on entry. Food, drink, alcohol, drugs, weapons, or dangerous items are strictly prohibited.
5.4 Smoking and vaping are not permitted within the attraction.
5.5 Guests are not permitted to touch actors, props, or installations. Running, climbing, or leaving designated pathways is strictly prohibited.
5.6 Groups must remain together and follow the designated route at all times. Guests must not interfere with safety equipment, barriers, or lighting.

6. Experience Details

6.1 The event is a self-guided scare experience lasting approximately 30 minutes, with both indoor and outdoor sections.
6.2 Groups may be split or combined to ensure the best experience, with a maximum of eight guests per group.
6.3 Guests should expect horror effects, themed scenes, and live actors. The experience is designed to be frightening and staff instructions must be followed at all times.
6.4 Guests wishing to leave the experience early must alert a member of staff who will escort those out at the earliest viable opportunity. No refunds will be provided to those who leave early and those under 18 must continue to be accompanied per 4.2.

7. Photography and Media

7.1 Filming, photography, and recording are strictly prohibited during the experience to preserve the integrity of the attraction.
7.2 By attending, guests consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. Guests may request to opt out upon entry.

8. Personal Belongings

8.1 The organisers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
8.2 Guests should dress appropriately for outdoor conditions and possible exposure to mud or special effects on clothing.

9. Ticket Discounts

9.1 Tickets purchased using the voucher code EARLYBIRD are offered at a discounted rate of 20% off the ticket price for a limited period. This discount applies only to tickets purchased while the promotion is active. Early Bird Tickets are subject to the same terms and conditions as standard tickets, are non-refundable, and exchanges are only permitted as outlined in section 2.4.
9.2 From time to time, the organisers may offer other discounts, voucher codes, or promotional offers. All discounts and promotions are subject to availability, may have specific terms and conditions, and can be revoked, modified, or withdrawn at the organisers’ discretion without prior notice.

10. Acceptance

10.1 By purchasing a ticket, guests confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
10.2 Guests confirm that they meet the health, safety, and age requirements set out in these terms.
